Please join our free mailing list (we only require an email address) to receive priority bulletins and breaking news! << To view the full length video for Nightingale click here >> Track from Kezi's album to feature in movie ‘Angel’ one of the tracks from Kezi’s album ‘Whatever it takes’ features on the American feature film ‘Cosmic Radio’, written and directed by Stephen Savage (Lunatopia Productions) and produced by Velocity Pictures. ‘ Cosmic Radio’ stars Wes Studi (Last of the Mohicans/Heat), Taboo (Black Eyed Peas), Irene Bedard (Pocahantas), Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs/Sin City/Kill Bill), Ricardo Chavira (Desperate Housewives/Six Feet Under). The movie premiered at The Palm Springs Film Festival in California on January 5th this year. Kezi was in attendance. ‘Angel’ also features on the movie ‘Revamped’ (Millenium Concepts in association with V-Line Productions). Originally a short film entitled ‘Fatal Kiss’ it gained rotation on HBO and Cinemax in the United States and won ‘Best Screenplay’ award at AFFMA International Film Festival and awards at SCREAMFEST. Plans for 2008 This year, Kezi has plans to dedicate herself to writing more songs for her own project and in addition, for television and film. She hopes to collaborate with several acclaimed writer/producers, both in the UK and the United States . She also has plans to tour. The Big Buzz Awards Kezi attended this years Big Buzz Awards at The Millennium Forum, Derry, on 26th August. She presented the award for the Best Irish TV Personality. Nominees were, Patrick Keilty (Presenter of Love Island), Dermot O'Leary and Shane Lynch (Boyzone/Love Island). The award went to Shane Lynch. Kezi and her band also closed the televised awards ceremony, performing songs from her forthcoming album. Kezi with Dave Lee Travis Kezi performed an acoustic set for the legendary Dave Lee Travis on Sunday 11th June 2006. DLT's radio show on BBC Three Counties invited Kezi to perform tracks from her forthcoming album. She also chatted candidly to Dave about her life, her career and the inspiration behind her debut album. 'Whatever it takes' Kezi's debut album 'Whatever it takes' is produced by Dan Frampton (Dido/Liberty X/Rick Astley/S Club), Oskar Paul (Depeche Mode/Seal), Stuart Epps (Elton John/Robbie Williams/Twisted Sister), Ian Catt (St Etienne) and Kezi herself, this twelve-track album is a blend of acoustic, guitar pop, an occasional hint of rock and a sprinkling of country. "For me this album has been a journey - full of history and with feelings often laid bare - the experiences that life has brought to me are at times reflected in my songs - but not always as there are times when they have simply stemmed from a crazy observation or some mad fantasy - it has often been a cathartic experience - however - never sad and always resulting in revelation - life has challenged me - but I knew in my heart from the first words I spoke and the first steps I took that I would get there - whatever it takes..."
