Nightingale Video

My video is up on the page now, thanks to Tom. Its also up on youtube.com and will be on my website too real soon.

Thanks loads to Dash Productions (www.dashproductions.co.uk) for making the video so fast and almost entirely painlessly (apart from the extreme lack of sleep on my part!). What a super bunch of people they are to work with.

Single release creeping up on me! Have some national press coming out real soon and Hello Mag have invited me to do a shoot with them next week.

Nightingale - Promo Video

Well, we wrapped on the filming last night in Cheshire. The crew were so wonderful to work with. The guys at Dash Productions are now in post production so hopefully we should have the finished video by early next week.

I go back to Cheshire tomorrow to look at the preliminary edit so all will be revealed!

Nightingale - Promo Video

Well, we are set to start shooting on Sunday it would seem. A little treatment tweaking here and there, plus styling ideas to get in place and we are up and running.

I love the team that I am working with at Dash Productions (www.dashproductions.co.uk). They are such a nice bunch of people I know that is is going to be a lovely experience working with them.

Nightingale - The Video

Spent today working alongside Paul at Dash Productions bashing out ideas for the video. We start shooting on Sunday in Surrey and then we move on up to Cheshire next week.

Its fun bouncing ideas around and so far I've been brainstorming with Tom, my web man in Chicago, my sister and her husband and Paul at Dash.

The treatment kinda evolves naturally and we should be pretty close to conclusion in the next day or so.

Fun, but scary at the same time! You want the outcome to be cool, innovative and sophisticated, but then you remember that you have to keep a bit focused on the commercial angle and not disappear too far up your butt!

We're currently working on storyboards for the video for the single (Nightingale).

Hopefully we'll be up and running in the next few days and then start shooting right away cos the clocks ticking on the single release!

In Session With Dave Lee Travis

Well, I think we managed to pull off the unplugged session with DLT on BBC Three Counties today. John and Alex performed with me so they are top guys to turn up and do the gig with little or no rehearsal!

We performed Nightingale, Taking Control and Eyes To See from the album and I talked to Dave on air about my life, my career and of course my record releases (be rude not too!).

DLT was adorable and so lovely to work with. He has said that I must come back, so I really hope that happens. He's currently reviewing my album so lets wait and see what that brings.....

We have some cute pics of us with Dave so we'll get them up soon along with the interview.

In Session With Dave Lee Travis

Got a call today from one of our radio promoters asking if I would like to do an unplugged session on the Dave Lee Travis show on BBC Three Counties on Sunday the 11th.

Of course, I was dead chuffed to be asked, because DLT is a bit of a legend!

My panic though is that all my musicians are in session and so am I so heaven knows when we will get to rehearse! Because I spent a bunch of time in the studio making the album, it kept me off the live circuit for a few months so I could use a bit of a brush up for sure!

Oh well, that's rock and roll I guess...
