At the age of 16, Kezi discovered her true love for music and this encouraged her to investigate her talent further. She replied to an advertisement in a local paper and later recorded some vocals for an up and coming songwriter. Just a few months later, Kezi had formed her own band. 'Rumerz' soon began performing a set of 'home grown' songs and cover versions and fast became one of the most highly sought after acts throughout the European clubs and military bases.

Kezi has a true magic as a live performer and she continued to 'gig' throughout the late 80's and early 90's. She became a modern day 'Forces Sweetheart' and her picture could be found hanging in many lockers throughout Europe.

Later came the songs, slowly at first, but soon she became more confident in her skills and began to write with her keyboard player, Lee Stewart. This opened a new world for Kezi and eventually, the decision was made to disband Rumerz in order that she could spend more time nurturing her writing skills. When the time was right, she went into the studio; working with professionals such as Stuart Epps, whose work with Jimmy Page, Elton John, Robbie Williams and many others, have put him amongst the UK's most innovative producers and engineers. This was Kezi's education.

During the past couple of years, Kezi has embarked on various song writing and recording sessions with some outstanding producers and writers including: - Brian Higgins (Cher, Danni Minogue, Sugarbabes, Girls out loud), Tom Nichols (All Saints, Kylie Minogue), Ian Catt (St Etienne), Simon Tauber (Gina G, Atomic Kitten), Ruff Driverz (Don't Stop, Deeper Love).

These collaborations have allowed Kezi's own skills as a writer, singer and producer to flourish. The end result is an intriguing artist and a collection of songs that are both musically exciting, lyrically tantalising and undoubtedly massive international hits.

In 2003 Kezi teamed up with dance producers/writers and turned her talents to writing and producing the dance anthem ‘What A Feeling.' Complemented by stunning mixes from Almighty & Rob Searle, plus bonus mixes by Maximus & LeeJay, Kezi embraced the dance arena with enormous success. Kezi featured as guest vocalist 'What A Feeling.' The track was in the top ten breakers chart and subsequently reached number 5 in the commercial pop top 30 and the upfront club chart top 40, despite competition from the likes of Holly Valance, Reef, Dario G, Moony and Mariah Carey.

'This is who I am', Kezi's first release, written by Kezi, Tom Nichols and Alex Von Soos and produced by Oskar Paul and Rick Baraclough gained great support across the airwaves in late 2003. The track was playlisted on at least 30 radio stations nationally.

'This is who I am' was selected to compete on Capital FM 'Spin it or bin it,' for 'Record of the week.' The track won the public vote and beat Mel Blatts single. It then went into the final against Blu Cantrell and Benny Benassi. Kezi has headlined at 'The Borderline' and Cafe De Paris in the west end of London. She has appeared as special guest at Shepherds Bush Empire, Birmingham Academy and Manchester Academy as part of the Matt Goss tour. In the summer of 2003, Kezi performed at Glasgow Stadium to 30,000 people alongside acts such a Blue, Darius, Danni Minogue and Mark Owen as part of the 'Live & Loud' event. In November 2003, selected from hundreds of british acts by BBC World, Kezi travelled to China to appear in a televised concert as part of AIDS awareness.

Her musical style and direction embrace a variety of genres. Predominantly she enjoys performing a blend of acoustic pop/rock. Her album 'Whatever it takes' has been released in Ireland and the UK and other territories are almost likely to follow. With the support and backing of her record companies and her team, it is now time to move forward with Kezi's music career. The interest in this female enigma continues to be enormous and it can only be a matter of time before Kezi's ambition of a successful world-wide album becomes a reality.
