Welcome to the official site of Kezi Silverstone: Singer Songwriter No stranger to the media, singer/songwriter Kezi Silverstone is ready to release her debut album ‘ Whatever It Takes '. Produced by Dan Frampton (Dido/Rick Astley/Lionel Ritchie), Oskar Paul (Depeche Mode/Seal/Will Young), Stuart Epps (Elton John/Robbie Williams/Bill Wyman/Chris Rea), Ian Catt (St Etienne/Trembling Blue Stars) and herself, this twelve-track album is a blend of acoustic, guitar pop, an occasional hint of rock and a droplet of country. Producing a thoroughly grown up sound, this artist is a singer/songwriter with great depth and passion. British born, Kezi's family resides in the United States. However, Kezi herself is now based in England. The former ‘Face' of Lynx Faberge has spent the last few years working with various accomplished writers and producers nurturing her style and her writing and production skills. She has worked hard on her debut album in-between modeling endorsements and guest appearances on television including the award-winning Jonathan Creek. Theatre/acting was the starting point for Kezi and whilst she often misses her theatre roots, her music will always take precedence. As a live performer her true magic really shines through and she has performed at venues such as Shepherds Bush Empire (London), Birmingham Academy and Glasgow Stadium (Scotland). Kezi has worked with many top ten writers/producers including Tom Nichols (Kylie/Hall & Oats/Celine Dion/Tom Jones), Simon Tauber (Gina G/Atomic Kitten), Ian Catt (St Etienne/Trembling Blue Stars) and Stuart Epps (Elton John/Robbie Williams/Chris Rea/Bill Wyman) and has been invited to write/produce with Chicago based writer/producer Mark Picciotti (T.A.T.U/Shakira/Madonna/Michael Jackson/Mary J Blige) and Los Angeles based writer/producer Shele Sondheim (Natalie Cole/Candi Carlton) amongst others. ‘This Is Who I Am' written by Kezi, Tom Nichols and Alex Von Soos and produced by Oskar Paul and Rick Baraclough achieved great acclaim across the airways in the autumn of 2003 with more than 30 playlistings. This was an introduction to Kezi the real singer songwriter and instigated many live performances with her talented band, including Glasgow stadium (30,000 people) alongside top UK acts including Blue , Darius and The Sugarbabes. Kezi appeared as special guest of Matt Goss (Bros) on his UK Tour, which included Bristol Academy , Birmingham Academy , Manchester Academy and Shepherds Bush Empire . She has headlined at The Borderline (London) & Café De Paris (London) and was selected from 600 acts to travel to China to perform for BBC World . She has performed acoustically on many radio stations including Schooly's show on Capital FM; Mathew Wrights LBC prime time show and The Sadie Nine Show on BBC London. The reactions to her performances have been outstanding. Other acoustic/live performances are currently being scheduled. Kezi has graced and continues to grace the pages of many national and international newspapers and magazines. She has appeared on high profile TV shows and continues to be invited to do so. People are drawn to her incredible story and her personal strength. Kezi is an official supporter of Barnardo's (children's charity) and Patron of Friends Of Animals League (animal sanctuary). Kezi was herself in the care of Barnardo's as a young child. The company of animals changed her life and as she has grown, so has her concern for their welfare. After many years in care, she was reunited with her natural family in America sixteen years ago. Millenium Concepts in association with V-Line Productions have announced that ‘Angel' a track taken from Kezi forthcoming album will feature in their upcoming feature film ‘Fatal Kiss'. Fatal Kiss was originally a short film, which secured best screenplay award at AFFMA International Film Festival. Kezi will present an award this year at The Big Buzz Awards, one of the most prestigious and highly anticipated events in Irish showbiz. She will also perform live with her band at the awards televised ceremony. Kezi's debut album is currently licensed to Clann Records for the territory of Ireland via The Massive Music Company (UK) Ltd. Following huge radio and media support gained by the track ‘Nightingale' in Ireland in December 2005 (including national playlistings), Kezi's double A sided single 'Tired of being the one/Love Hurts' is released in Ireland in March. The single has again secured both national and regional playlistings. Media support has been unprecedented. A further single and the album ‘ Whatever It Takes ' will be released in Ireland in April. Since the completion of the album at the end of January, offers of license have been forthcoming for the UK. Interest in this album and Kezi increases and it will not be long before Kezi's ambition of a worldwide album success becomes a reality….
